The settlement at the "Erfurter Kreuz" is further proof of the attractiveness of the business location. He was particularly pleased that Marquardt would establish a completely new, innovative product in Thuringia. As a strong automotive supplier location with more than 500 suppliers today, the Free State offers the company the best framework conditions and support when challenges arise.
Attractive location with growth potential

The products are manufactured in a 10,000 m² workshop in the Ichtershausen industrial area. From January 2019, Marquardt will gradually build up production, and the recruitment of new employees has already begun.

Marquardt, a family-run company founded in 1925 and based in Rietheim-Weilheim, Baden-Württemberg, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of electromechanical and electronic switches and switching systems.
