The following data is required for this: surname, first name; e-mail address; telephone number; password and language. Further mandatory data as well as further voluntary data and your application documents (CV, certificates, further evidence, etc.) can be made available to us after successful registration in our applicant portal.

What do we process your data for in the application process?
We process your personal data for the purpose of preparing, documenting and carrying out the selection of applicants and subsequently establishing an employment relationship with us.

    Our processing in detail

We create an applicant profile of you
With the help of your application documents, which you have sent us electronically (or by mail), an applicant profile of you is created. You can view your applicant profile in our applicant portal at any time and edit it independently. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

    We answer your questions
With the help of your contact data (received telephone number, e-mail address and address) we communicate with you to process your questions and concerns in the context of the application. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

We store your data in our talent pool
The talent pool is used to match your application profile with corresponding, future positions. In the event of a match, we will contact you again. If you expressly wish to be included in our talent pool by confirming "storage in the talent pool" in an e-mail after rejection, we will store your data until revoked, but for no longer than 2 years. After expiration, your data will be deleted automatically and without separate notification. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

    Transmission of applicant profiles
If you have applied for a specific position or a vacancy matches your profile, we will transmit your documents directly to relevant decision-makers within the Marquardt Group via our applicant portal. Your documents will not be forwarded to third parties. The legal basis for the processing of your application documents is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a.

Storage and deletion of your data
In principle, we store your data only as long as necessary to fulfill contractual or legal obligations for which we have collected the data. Thereafter, we delete the data immediately, unless we still need the data until the expiry of the statutory limitation period for evidence purposes for claims under civil law or due to statutory retention obligations.

We carry out the following deletion practice as part of the applicant process:

    (1) applicants who applied on their own initiative or were in an active applicant process for one or more positions: 3 months after the rejection, in the case of multiple applications of the last rejection, the data is deleted.

    (2) applicants who have been included in the talent pool: 24 months after inclusion in the talent pool or after the last consent in the case of an extension, the data will be deleted.

You can delete your applicant profile yourself from our applicant portal system at any time and thus also delete your account. If you were in an active application process, we usually cannot delete your data immediately. In this case, we will block your data for a maximum of 6 months. Individuals in the recruiting department will then only have access to your profile upon request to our system provider. After this blocking period, your data will be completely deleted.

    Disclosure of your data
Your data associated with our application process will only be used to the extent necessary in each case. If necessary, your data will be passed on within the Marquardt Group. The processing and storage of data in our applicant portal is carried out by our service providers:

    - Avature GmbH, Reichenbachstraβe 26, 80469 Munich.

The service providers have been carefully selected and appropriate contractual agreements have been agreed upon, as well as technical precautions regarding the maintenance of a level of data protection have been taken.

    Your rights
You have the right to request information about the processing of your personal data by us at any time. When you request information, we will explain the data processing to you and provide you with an overview of the data stored about you. If any data stored by us is incorrect or no longer up to date, you have the right to have this data corrected. You can also request the deletion of your data. If deletion is exceptionally not possible due to other legal regulations, the data will be blocked so that it is only available for this legal purpose. You can also have the processing of your data restricted, for example, if you believe that the data we have stored is incorrect. You also have a right to data portability.

To exercise your rights described here, you can contact us at any time using the contact details above. In addition, you have the right to object to data processing based on Art. 6 (1) lit. e or f EU-DSGVO. Furthermore, you have the right to complain to the data protection supervisory authority responsible for us. You can assert this right at a supervisory authority in the member state of your residence, your workplace or the location of the alleged violation.

In accordance with Article 7 (2) EU-DSGVO, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. This has the consequence that we no longer continue the data processing based on this consent for the future. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation. Insofar as we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f EU-DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your data pursuant to Art. 21 EU-DSGVO, insofar as there are grounds for doing so that arise from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising. In the latter case, you have a general right of objection, which will also be implemented by us without giving reasons. If you wish to exercise your right of revocation or objection, it is sufficient to send an informal message to the contact details above.

How do we protect your data?
We and our service provider maintain up-to-date technical measures to ensure data security, in particular to protect your personal data from risks during data transmissions and from third parties gaining knowledge. These are adapted to the current state of the art in each case. To secure the personal data you enter on our website, we use Transport Layer Security (TLS), which encrypts the information you enter.

    Can this privacy policy change?
In the course of the further development of our website and the implementation of new legal requirements, new technologies, or in order to improve our service for you, changes to this data protection information may become necessary.
