You can apply for open positions at Marquardt via our website in the "Careers" section. An initial registration is necessary for this. The following data is required: surname, first name; e-mail address; telephone number; password and language. Further mandatory data as well as further voluntary data and your application documents (curriculum vitae, certificates, further evidence, etc.) can be made available to us after successful registration in our applicant portal.
Why do we process your data in the application process?
We process your personal data for the purpose of preparing, documenting and carrying out the selection of applicants and subsequently establishing an employment relationship with us.
Our processing in detail:
We create an applicant profile for you
With the help of your application documents, which you have sent to us electronically (or by post), we create an applicant profile of you. You can view your applicant profile in our applicant portal at any time and edit it yourself. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1lita DSGVO.
We answer your questions
With the help of your contact data (received telephone number, e-mail address and address), we communicate with you in order to process your questions and concerns in the context of the application. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1lita DSGVO.
We store your data in our talent pool
The talent pool is used to match your application profile with corresponding, future jobs. In the event of a match, we will contact you again. If you expressly wish to be included in our talent pool by confirming "storage in the talent pool" in an e-mail after rejection, we will store your data until revoked, but for no longer than 2 years. After this period, your data will be deleted automatically and without separate notification. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1lita DSGVO.
Submission of applicant profiles
If you have applied for a specific position or a vacancy matches your profile, we will transfer your documents directly to relevant decision-makers within the Marquardt Group via our applicant portal. Your application will not be forwarded to third parties. The
legal basis for the processing of your application documents is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a.
Saving and deleting your data
In principle, we only store your data for as long as is necessary to fulfil contractual or legal obligations for which we have collected the data. Thereafter, we delete the data immediately, unless we still need the data until the expiration of the statutory period of limitation for evidence purposes for civil law claims or due to statutory retention obligations.
We carry out the following deletion practice as part of the applicant process:
1. applicants who have made a speculative application or were in an active applicant process for one or more positions: 3 months after the rejection, in the case of multiple applications of the last rejection, the data is deleted.
2. applicants who have been included in the talent pool: 24 months after inclusion in the talent pool or after the last consent in the case of an extension, the data will be deleted.
You can delete your applicant profile yourself from our applicant portal system at any time and thus also delete your account. If you were in an active application process, we usually cannot delete your data immediately. In this case, we will block your data for a maximum of 6 months. Individuals in the recruiting department will then only have access to your profile upon request to our system provider. After this blocking period, your data will be completely deleted.
Disclosure of your data
Your data will only be used in our application process to the extent necessary in each case. If necessary, your data will be passed on within the Marquardt Group. The processing and storage of data in our applicant portal is carried out by our service provider Cornerstone OnDemand Ltd. (6th Floor, One London Wall, EC2Y 5EB, London, UK). You have the right to request information about the processing of your personal data by us at any time. We will explain the data processing and provide you with an overview of the data stored about you as part of the provision of information. If data stored with us is incorrect or no longer up-to-date, you have the right to have this data corrected. You may also request that your data be deleted. Should the deletion not be possible due to other legal regulations, the data will be blocked so that they are only available for this legal purpose. You may also have the processing of your data restricted, e.g. if you believe that the data we have stored is incorrect.
You also have a right to data transferability. To exercise your rights as described here, you may contact the above contact details at any time. In addition, you have the right to object to data processing based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e or f EU DSGVO. In accordance with Article 7 (2) of the EU Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. This has the consequence that we no longer continue the data processing based on this consent for the future. The revocation of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation. As we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f EU-DSGVO, you have the right to object to the processing of your data pursuant to Art. 21 EU-DSGVO, insofar as there are grounds for doing so which arise from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct advertising.
