Marquardt Romania was opened in Sibiu in 2006. The subsidiary’s activity relies on the work and talent of more than 2,700 employees who activate in 6 important departments: Electronics, Micro Switches, Plastic Molding, Painting & Laser, Assembly and a Research & Development Center.
Just eight months after starting as a Test Equipment Developer at the Marquardt headquarters, I had the opportunity to spend some time abroad. I was transferred to the Sibiu site, where I continued to work for three years. The openness of my Romanian colleagues made it easy for me to start there. The extensive personal responsibility, great team spirit, assorted projects, and diverse customer-base is what makes my work so exciting, both at home and abroad.
