The team of Marquardt Mexico received the “Supplier Quality Excellence Award 2022“ from General Motors.
Rietheim-Weilheim / Irapuato, in June 2023 - For the fourth time in a row, Marquardt Mexico has received the "Supplier Quality Excellence Award" from General Motors. The GM Group presents this award annually to suppliers who meet stringent quality performance criteria.
Martin Sauter, General Manager of Marquardt Mexico, says: „We value the trusting cooperation with General Motors and are therefore all the more pleased that we have once again convinced with our high quality standards last year. Special thanks go to our employees, whose great dedication and commitment make a significant contribution to our success.“
Marquardt has been represented in Irapuato in the state of Guanajuato since 2011. At the plant, the mechatronics expert manufactures automotive systems and applications for several OEMs as well as mechatronic devices. For General Motors, Marquardt Mexico produces primarily Human Machine Interface (HMI) products including steering wheel switches, start stop buttons and electric parking brakes for car models like Cadillac XT4 and XT6, Chevrolet Silverado, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Sierra and GMC Yukon, among other vehicles.
